The Central Maryland Parkinson Outreach 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run is preparing for the second annual event and needs your help. With your help, the 2006 event raised $25,000 and 400 runners and walkers participated. The Central Maryland Parkinson Outreach is taking on the task of raising funds for this important cause and we are seeking sponsors. Donations will be directed to the American Parkinson Disease Association Inc. and will be distributed for research toward a cure.

Our fundraising goal this year is $50,000. The vast majority of your donation goes to APDA research. Help us reach our goal!

The APDA relies on community and business support to help raise funds and awareness about what we do. Resources must be put together by volunteers who work long hours raising funds, making calls and conquering seemingly insurmountable obstacles in an effort to say “we can find the cure”. We need your support in our “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Central Maryland Outreach Parkinson 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run on May 26, 2008 to assist the 1.5 million people in the United States diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
